Three 2020 Life Lessons Courtesy Of My Frayed Cell Phone Charger

Life imitating cell phone chargers…

I was sitting at my desk yesterday hammering the phones for work when I noticed my iPhone charger.

It’s funny what you don’t notice when you’re in your own “fog of war”.

I couldn’t help but think, what a perfect visual for the last 6 months.

I don’t just post the highlight reel on my online feeds. I’ve railed against the concept of just posting the greatest hits in life and business because I think such lies of omission are more than a little problematic.

True story… this frayed charger is the last 6 months.

In 2020 I think everyone has their version of frayed.

2020 has been a mess. I looked at our laundry list of trouble and couldn’t help but think, WOW, you couldn’t write this as fiction.

From business upheaval to health challenges. I mean really, I’m still trying to figure out how in the world I got on the wrong side of a retinal vein occlusion and macular edema and having needles in my eye every 60 days??? And these are just the tip of the iceberg.
